Japanese Company Opens North American Headquarters in Charlotte

Japanese company Yamada Dobby announced today that it has opened its North American headquarters in Charlotte. This location will serve as the company’s new equipment sales office, technical service center and spare parts warehouse for its high-speed metal stamping press line.

Irongate Home Finance Opening Corporate HQ in Charlotte Creating 125 Jobs

Irongate Home Finance, LLC, a home mortgage company, will open its corporate headquarters office in uptown Charlotte in April 2014. The company has leased 21,000 square feet in the First Citizens building located at 128 S. Tryon St., creating approximately 125 new jobs over the next 18 months. The company will continue to grow by 75-100 jobs per year through 2019.

Bonomi North America Relocates North American Headquarters And Adds Assembly Operations

Bonomi North America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the worldwide Bonomi Group located in Brescia, Italy, announced today that it has relocated its corporate office from Rock Hill, S.C., to Charlotte, N.C. Bonomi created 11 new jobs in Charlotte with planned growth of five additional jobs over the next three years. Bonomi purchased the facility on 750 Imperial Court, which it plans to expand in the near future to add further assembly operations.

Eclipse Automation Expanding to Charlotte

Gov. Pat McCrory and N.C. Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that Canadian company Eclipse Automation Inc. will expand its operations to Mecklenburg County under the name Eclipse Automation Southeast, LLC. The new facility will be located in the Whitehall Technology Park in Charlotte. The company plans to create 50 new jobs over the next three years.

InChem Announces $15 Million Expansion With Plant Purchase, Creating 40 New Jobs

InChem Corp., headquartered in Rock Hill, S.C., is continuing the expansion of its custom and toll chemical manufacturing operations with the purchase of its third chemical manufacturing site in the Carolinas. This includes a $15 million investment commitment in plant, real estate and equipment, and will create 40 new jobs over the next three years. The company’s new site is located at 12345 Steele Creek Road in Charlotte.

Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that American International Group (AIG) will establish a technology center in Mecklenburg County. The company plans to create 230 new jobs in North Carolina by the end of 2017 and invest more than $5.5 million in Charlotte.
